The primary purpose of channelizer cones is to alert drivers about changes in road conditions due to ongoing work activities. They can also serve other short-term maintenance and utility work needs.
Our Gorilla Grip Channelizer Cone is designed to comply with MUTCD standards for day and low-speed roadways, as well as NCHRP 350/MASH requirements. It features two High Intensity Reflective bands (6" and 4" bands) for enhanced visibility at night.
The cone is made from heavy-duty materials and has a grip cavity that ensures a secure and safe grip even with wet or muddy hands or gloves. In addition, the rubber base of the cone weighs 16lbs and is made from 100% post-consumer recycled tire rubber from used car and truck tires, making it environmentally friendly.
