Product Overview

The Rigid The Stop / Slow Handheld Paddle Sign features an 18” or 24" octagonal sign with stop on one side and slow on the other side. You can choose from either plastic or aluminum substrates. Full-length extension handles are available to accommodate various paddle heights requirements.  This sign complies with the 2009 MUTCD which specifies in Section 6E.03 that stop/slow paddles shall have letters at least 6 inches high. The stop face has white letters and a white border on a red background. The slow face has black letters and a black border on an orange background. When used at night the paddle shall be retro-reflectorized. The smooth finish round orange handle not only stands out but allows for easily adding an extension handle to make holding the sign easier to hold for long periods of time

The products with the 5 ft., 6 ft. and telescopic staff option, feature a flat facet front and back which aid the user in determining the sign's orientation, minimizing the amount of time their attention is away from traffic. A thick rounded bottom cap protects the staff from wear while making the unit easy to rotate. At the same time, its 2-piece assembly allows for easy storage.
