The 32" x 72" Water/Sand Fillable Traffic Jersey Barrier is designed for applications where a taller, more substantial temporary barrier is needed for vehicle control, parking areas, construction sites, and restricted-access zones. Its compact 72" length makes it practical for creating temporary traffic channels, separating work areas, and controlling vehicle movement.

Constructed from UV-resistant, recyclable polyethylene, this rotationally molded barrier combines durability with a manageable 70-lb. empty weight. The lightweight design allows one or two people to position the barrier before filling, making installation and relocation easier while minimizing the need for heavy equipment.

For added stability, the barrier can be ballasted with water or sand. It accommodates up to 70 gallons of water, increasing the total weight to approximately 653 lbs.

The barrier can be filled with water or sand to increase weight and stability based on the requirements of the application.

When filled with up to 70 gallons of water, the total barrier weight is approximately 653 lbs.

When filled with sand, the total barrier weight is approximately 1,396 lbs.

For freezing temperatures, add 4-6 oz. of calcium chloride per gallon of water to help prevent freezing.

Can the barrier be moved without heavy equipment?
When empty, the 70-lb. barrier can typically be positioned or relocated by one or two people. Heavy equipment may be used when moving the barrier after it has been filled with ballast.

Can the barrier be used in freezing temperatures?
Yes. When using water as ballast in freezing temperatures, the manufacturer recommends adding 4-6 oz. of calcium chloride per gallon of water to help prevent freezing.

Does the barrier come filled with water or sand?
No. The barrier is shipped empty and can be filled with water or sand at the installation location.
